Reminder: Please wear socks and comfortable clothing that allows for movement to assist with treatment. This includes loose/stretchy pants, a long sleeve shirt or t-shirt and socks. Please avoid jeans, dress pants, skirts/dresses, button up shirts, and tank tops if possible.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a manual therapy that aims to realign structures and integrate systems within the body to allow for normal physiologic function. The entire body will be examined in order to understand how forces are displaced throughout the body, contributing to the symptoms you are experiencing (i.e., aches and pains, headaches, digestive issues, etc.)

Melanie Tucker

Melanie graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2023, obtaining her Masters of Practice Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M.OMSc). Melanie is a member of OSTCAN and OOA, meaning that her treatments are covered under most extended healthcare benefits. Prior to graduating from the CAO, Melanie obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Honours Specialization in Kinesiology from Western University in 2019. Melanie has always been intrigued by the structure and function relationship of the human body, and her osteopathic education has allowed her to understand how to find and treat the root cause of patients’ symptoms in order to help them feel their best.
